Tobias Schmidt - Junior Partner
Tobias Schmidt, born in 1986, is Junior Partner at the IPM. He is responsible for the design, organization and marketing of the conference format "RAILWAY FORUM Berlin". As a railway expert, he is also involved in various other projects.
Mr. Schmidt had worked in operational and strategic positions in the Deutsche Bahn AG Group in Frankfurt/Main, Berlin and Paris for five years. Due to his Deutsche Bahn background, Mr. Schmidt has extensive knowledge of the railway sector. During his academic career, Mr. Schmidt studied Business Administration (BA) and International Business and Consulting (MA) at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt/Oder, writing his thesis about "Interest Groups in the European Union". His areas of expertise are: Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Services and Organizational Management, Strategic Management and Business and Economic Interest Groups.
Tony Brandstätter - Junior Partner
Tony Brandstätter, born in 1988, is Junior Partner at the IPM. He is responsible for the design, the organization and the marketing of the conference format "AVIATION FORUM Hamburg". As an aviation expert, he is involved in various other projects.
Mr. Brandstätter began his professional career with an apprenticeship as a precision mechanics at the German Aerospace Center. Afterwards, he studied at the DLR Institute of Composite Structures and Adaptive Systems. Mr. Brandstätter earned his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (B.Eng.) and his Master's degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (MBA) at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. Prior to joining the IPM, Mr. Brandstätter was engaged in technology planning and development at Volkswagen.
Barbara Weingarten - Project Manager
Barbara Weingarten is an innovative and results driven Project Manager for Event Development at the IPM.
Mrs. Weingarten studied at the Technical University of Berlin and holds a degree in Business Administration. She has developed her project management skills over 16 years (1998 -2014) across different areas of the exhibition industry at the Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH, a leading organizer of technology-oriented trade fairs and congresses. Most recently, she was responsible for planning and organization of international conventions on topics such as electronics and microelectronics.
Friederike Riedl - Project Manager
Friederike Hecke, born in 1987, project manager, is responsible for the organization of conferences at IPM.
Ms. Hecke worked at Deutsche Messe AG and was involved in the organization of the HANOVER MESSE from 2012 to 2015. She was also responsible for the Industrial Supply fair, the Materials FORUM and the Suppliers Convention. Ms. Hecke earned her bachelor's degree in economics and the subsequent master's degree with a focus on international management at the Leibniz University of Hanover.
Manuel Jansen – Project Manager
Manuel Jansen, born in 1979, is project manager at IPM and in charge of managing conferences.
After he had finished his event manager training, he worked for a web and media agency near Cologne, for 8 years. He planned conferences and training courses for bailiffs and Germany‘s ministries of justice. In 2015, he continued his training at the TA Hameln to become an event management specialist. After his studies, he worked as an exhibition project manager for the LOKHALLE in Göttingen and was responsible for the planning, organization and performance of the Lokolino fair, the largest family fair in Southern Lower Saxony.
After a short stopover, working as Senior Project Manager at Peppermint Event in Hanover, he joined the IPM in May 2018.
SIMON Thasler - Junior Project Manager
Simon Thasler, born in 1986, has been working at IPM as Junior Project Manager of the Forum Deutscher Mittelstand, since 2018.
After he had finished his hotel management training at the Hotel Atlantik Kempinski Hamburg, he studied business administration at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences focusing on corporate management, marketing and industry. During his studies, Mr. Thasler worked for Eventit AG in Hanover, which has been part of Deutsche Messe AG, since 2011. Mr. Thasler gained many years of experience in the trade fair and event industry as team leader at various trade fairs and events and as project assistant at numerous press presentations in the automotive industry in Germany and other European countries. In addition, Mr. Thasler was Service Manager of the VIP boxes at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Bahrain in 2012 and 2013, and at the Bahrain International Airshow in 2016, where he was responsible for up to 45 service personnel.
Michael Hengstermann - Marketing Manager
Michael Hengstermann, born 1987, is responsible for marketing at IPM.
During and after his studies of business administration in Wiesbaden, Mr. Hengstermann worked as a sales assistant for the fleet division at Avalon Premium Cars in Kronberg im Taunus. From 2015 to 2018, he was then responsible for paid advertising at an online performance marketing agency in Hanover.
Silke Dettmer - Graphic Design
Silke Dettmer oversees the graphic design at IPM.
After completing her training in advertising, Mrs. Dettmer studied at the “Norddeutsche Akademie für Marketing + Kommunikation” in Hanover where she earned her communications degree.
For more than ten years, Mrs. Dettmer was responsible for project management, design, events, media planning and advertising in an advertising agency. Subsequently, she joined the marketing department of an industrial company and managed advertising and online activities. She was also writing press releases, articles and application reports on innovative RFID products. Mrs. Dettmer gained comprehensive insights of RFID, the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and supply chain automation.
Karin Schmidtke - Executive Board Office
Karin Schmidtke, born in 1963, is Secretary of the IPMs executive board. She also manages all conference registrations and is responsible for translations as well as for editing the IPM publications.
Previously, Mrs. Schmidtke worked as a translator, translating publications on RFID, Industry 4.0, digitization and automation in production, logistics and retail. For 10 years, she was Sales Assistant at a developer and manufacturer of RFID applications. Mrs. Schmidtke studied history and philosophy at Hanover University (M.A.).
MILA SCHMIDT - BOOKKEEPING
Mila Schmidt, born in 1993, has been the IPM bookkeeper responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping and controlling support, since January 2018.
Mila Schmidt started her professional career with an office management training at orange networks GmbH in Hamburg. During this time, she assumed tasks related to executive assistance, accounting, human resources and controlling support.
In addition to her controller certification from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Mila Schmidt takes a correspondence course to become a certified business specialist.
Bjoern Schwabe - Assistant to the Board
Bjoern Schwabe, born in 1992, has been working as executive assistant at IPM AG since 2018. In his function, he supports the managing board in strategic tasks.
Bjoern Schwabe began his professional career with an apprenticeship as a bank clerk at Postbank AG. Until his studies, he worked there as a private and business consultant. In addition to his work at the IPM, Bjoern Schwabe studies business economics (B.Sc.) at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hanover. He specializes in strategic marketing, insurance management and information management / business informatics.
CARLO SCHAWARA - TEAM ASSISTANT
Carlo Schawara, born in 1994, has been working as a team assitant since 2015 at IPM AG. In his function, he supports the team in various projects and conferences. The focus of his work is set around the conference formats of „AVIATION FORUM Hamburg“ and „FUTURE MOBILITY FORUM“.
In addition to his work at IPM, Carlo Schawara studies business and economics (B.Sc.) at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hanover. He specializes in strategic marketing, human resource management and economic theory.
Matthias Galda - TEAM ASSISTANT
Matthias Galda, born in 1994, has been working as a team assitant since 2016 at IPM AG. In his function, he supports the team in various projects and conferences. The focus of his work is set around the conference formats of „ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM“, „RAILWAY FORUM Berlin“ and „CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT FORUM“.
In addition to his work at IPM, Matthias Galda studies information management at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover. He specializes in internal information structures, knowledge procurement and project management.
Nicolas greis - team assistant
Nicolas Greis, born in 1994, has been working as a team assistant at IPM AG since 2017. In his function he supports the team in various projects and conferences. The focus of his activities is mainly on the conference series "FORUM DEUTSCHER MITTELSTAND", "PRODUCTION & LOGISTICS FORUM" and "INNOVATIV LOGISTICS SOLUTION DAY".
In addition to his work at IPM, Nicolas Greis studies geosciences at the Leibniz Universität Hannover.
LuCas Meik - Team Assistant
Lucas Meik, born in 1997, has been working as a team assistant at IPM AG since 2016. In his function he supports the team in various projects and conferences. The focus of his activities is mainly on the conference series "ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM","RAILWAY FORUM Berlin" and "CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT FORUM".
In addition to his work at IPM, Lucas Meik studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover.
