Founding of Company
The IPM GbR - Institut für Produktionsmanagement is founded by Prof. Dr. Johannes Walther in Hanover.
Established the first conference - „Industrieforum Wolfsburg“, which still exists today as „Future Mobility Forum“.
Supply Chain Management Journal
The first edition of the SCM Journal is published. Today the SCM appears several times a year at major conferences.
The series of events "SCM World“ is established and successfully carried out until 2007. The conferences "Pharma Supply & Logistics" and "Chemie Supply & Logistics" will also follow in the years up to 2006.
Expansion of the portfolio by commissioning Volkswagen Logistik to develop and implement the "Network Competence" qualification programme. Further qualification programmes for the Volkswagen AutoUni will follow in 2008, including the Procurement / Logistics programme, lectures and workshops, some of which are still offered today in updated editions.
The IPM enters into strategic partnerships with Deutsche Bahn and Airbus Group, which become competence partners of the "Railway Forum Berlin" and the "Aviation Forum Hamburg". In the following years, both conferences develop into fixed figures in their sectors and become IPM's flagship events.
With Innovation Scouting, IPM offers a new service. Over the next few years we scout almost 500 innovations for Volkswagen Logistics and even today are looking for new solutions and services for Volkswagen AG.
With the "Production & Logistics Forum" and the "Additive Manufacturing Forum" we are successfully establishing further conferences on the market. Internally, too, we are creating the necessary conditions for more innovations, better conferences and efficiency. Part of this process is the transformation of IPM GmbH into IPM AG - Institute for Production Management.
The "Railway Forum Berlin" sets a new record with 1,000 participants.
The Journey continues
Expansion of the IPM product portfolio to include the conferences "Construction Equipment Forum", "Forum Deutscher Mittelstand" and the "IZB Congress".
